
Ambulance Team Leader
Department: Ambulance Division
Position: Full Time
Reports To: Managers and Directors
Roles & Responsibilities

Adopt a lead by example approach and be responsible to ensure workload and individual employees time is being utilised safely and effectively for all tasks being carried out.

Overall responsible for employees on site and to ensure clear communication and support at all times, dealing with any on-site issues that may occur.

If applicable , each Team Leader must book out any equipment / drugs relevant to their skill set to ensure best patient care and to be compliant with company policy.

To support and mentor new members of staff and support with the induction process.

To be responsible quality patient care, in-line with company training and CQC compliance.

To be committed to supporting all fellow co-workers, building good working relationships between all skill levels and departments.

To communicate with other team members, management and customer base, using the candour approach with honesty and integrity and always in a respectful manner.

All personnel are expected to be committed to meeting the needs of the business and provide a safe and effective service to our customers and client base.

All personnel are expected to understand and provide a safe-guarding service to ensure well-being of all patients being treated.

To liaise and communicate with Managers and Directors, immediately reporting any issues affecting the health and well-being of patients or any issues that may directly impact on the companies’ reputation.

To maintain good and effective housekeeping and Ambulance vehicle standards in line with company policy at all times.

To liaise with the Managers and Directors to ensure that the necessary materials and consumables are available, and that the companies’ property is kept in good order.

To proactively assist and encourage the continuation of company positive change.

To identify waste streams and actively minimise waste where possible.

To work with the Managers and Directors to ensure that all statutory and company compliance is being adhered to.

To ensure that you are punctual, and that time and attendance is maintained.

To ensure all documentation associated with patient care and/or company compliance is completed and recorded accurately.

To communicate any training requirements to the Managers and Directors.

Responsibilities also include any other support role determined appropriate to your job role by either the Managers and/ or Directors.
